Kubash Ultimate Leavers Bash 2016
Kubash, the annual leavers bash went down on the 4th of December, 2016 and it was absolute fun.
Artists; Collo, Bahati, Size 8, Recap, Willy Paul, Kelele Takatifu, Stone Jiwe, Anje...to name but a few, graced the Kubash stage with their Energetic performances. Even more, the Djs; from Dj Mo, Dj Sadiq, Dj Tismo, Dj Klifftah, Dj Sean...among others ministered by spinning the freshest hits we have on the gospel scene. The Holy Spirit's presence was evident & the harvest of souls at the event was bountiful. The crowd did not stop dancing as they defied the rain and gave their lives to Christ.
A special moment for us was introducing Kubamba Teen Awards where we honor Exemplary Teens who are doing great work in their society.
Here is a recap of what happened.

Kubash 2016 Pix with Coca Cola #KubashNaCocaCola
Kubash 2015 Ultimate Leavers BashOn the 29th of November 2015, all roads led to the City Hall Way where #KubashNaCocaCola the Ultimate Leavers After Party was held. Despite the dull weather that morning, people came out in their numbers to have a great time in song, dance and hype.
Some of the big names in the Gospel industry were in attendance, and these included, Bahati, Willy Paul, Kambua, Pitson, Mercy Masika, Eunice Njeri and Recapp. Kubamba's very own Timeless Noel and Nakya the Hype DJ did a remarkable job as the MCs of the day. The energy they gave off made everyone forget that it was raining. At the beginning, people were a bit stiff because of the chilly weather, but thanks to the hype of these two individuals, and the very talented Kubamba DJs, the ice was soon broken and all began to have a great time. The young people in attendance sang along, danced and cheered on the different acts as they enjoyed the complimentary Coke sodas that the Coca-Cola sponsors provided in plenty. Can you imagine drinking a soda as you dance outside in the rain? That's how epic the party was. All caution was thrown to the wind as far as the rain was concerned, and even umbrellas had a chance to take a break as people got their groove on. Many thanks go towards all those who made this event a success, including our sponsors and everyone we partnered with; Citizen TV, Coca-Cola, The Nairobi County Government, HOT 96 radio, and Xpose Ltd. We would especially like to appreciate all our loyal fans who didn't disappoint in their attendance. The pomp, cheer and glam would not have been possible without you all. Above all, we give God glory for the opportunity to minister to thousands and bring honor to His name. They say that a picture speaks a thousand words, so we'll leave you with a few images that portray a tip of the iceberg of what really went down at KUBASH, the 2015 edition. Our amazing photographers have got you covered, if you're curious. If you weren't in attendance this weekend, you surely missed out, but there's some good news for you nonetheless; the crew at Kubamba is currently planning the ultimate end-year party, TSO to be held on December 31st 2015 at K.I.C.C. Look out for more details because you certainly don't want to miss out on this one! |
Kubash Teens TourWe had a great time with the teens and young adults in the month of April, TO GOD BE THE GLORY. The Kubash tour took place in different areas as this is aimed to build up to our November 2016 Kubash Teens Party. Our first stop was in Ongata Rongai at House of grace where we had an estimate turnout of 1000 people. This was followed by Eastlands at PCEA Umoja, and the party had more than 2000 teens and young adults. The last event in April was our back to school party which took place at Kahawa Baptist popularly known as Kahawa Bapo. This was our biggest party with a record breaking of 2800 teens plus. We thank God for the 46 people gave their lives to Christ.
We could not have pulled this successful tour without the help of our local artist who were with us through out. God used them as they performed and ministered. The local artist included but not limited to; Eunice Njeri, Kambua, Bahati, Kris eeh Baba, Guardian Angel Majik Mike, J Fam, L J Masai, SOC and many more. Ministry of dance was the leading dance crew as they also worked with Jims N Dims, Dice, Detour and many more dance groups. Our own Timeless Noel and Nakya the Hype DJ, hyped and emceed our tour with incredible energy and fun with Kubamba DJs Moz, Gee Gee, Robo, Shawn and Kliftah. Thank you is an understatement to all the above mentioned individuals who made this tour successful. We appreciate you as you represent Christ Jesus to the fullest. Are you guys ready for August!!??!! The tour continue as we head Kitengela, Thika, Ngong and Buruburu / K-South. |
