This Tour reaches ut to K-Krew's core target audience, students aged between 14-18 years. They form about 30% of Kenya's population.
We started visiting high schools in 2000. During the first 10 years, we averaged about 30 to 45 high schools a year. In 2011, God connected us with Loren Hill and Ps. Sal Sberna of The Met Church, Houston, and our outreach grew exponentially.
In 2011, we visited 100 high schools, 2012 we visited high 205 schools. In 2013 we visited 365 high schools, in 2014, K-Krew visited 417 high schools and we connected with over 160,000 students during the tour. Out of these, we saw over 45,000 give their lives to Christ. The missions outreach in the schools continues to grow.
We seek to; Impact, Inspire, Connect, and Mentor our young generation through well designed Talks, Songs, Dance and shared Word.
We have been doing this successfully for the last 19 years and we have received numerous reports and feedback from school principals, teachers and students from schools we have visited of improved character, discipline and academic performance. Over the years, God has blessed us with an opportunity to work with over 1500 High Schools across the Kenya and other African countries.
Our Theme is: “Facing Your Giants!”
Due to the change of policy in the Ministry of Education, In 2019, we hope to reach out to 300 high schools and connect with 150,000 students.
