ANDY MINEO 'WORK IN PROGRESS'

​This is a great album from Andy Mineo, one that is rich in content, depth and he keeps it very real.
​Work In Progress is comprised of tracks that have sat on Andy Mineo’s hard drive for years, not surfacing for multiple reasons. Each track is also accompanied by a podcast explaining the meaning of the song and also going into more depth on the topic of the track.
In a 2019 interview with RESPECT Magazine, Andy described Work In Progress:
This project is called Work In Progress and it’s basically a mixtape podcast hybrid. So these records have been sitting around on my hard drive for like a year to years. Some even date back to 2014 but they’re records that never came out for various reasons. We just wanted to use this year to get myself back into the music and recording process. I just came out with the idea of including the podcast to describe the full journey of this process.
